Jamie Kuehl
Head Men's Golf Coach

Jamie Kuehl is in his first season as head coach of the Tiger men’s golf program.

A native of Hays, Kan., Kuehl was a four-year letterwinner in golf at Fort Hays State from 2003-2007. Kuehl was a member of the 2004-05 squad that made the first ever NCAA Division II Super Regional appearance in school history.

In 2005, Kuehl represented Fort Hays State University at the NCAA National Leadership Conference in Orlando, Fla. He also represented FHSU at the NCAA Regional Leadership Conference in Kansas City, Mo., in the fall of 2006.

Aside from his coaching duties, Kuehl also owns and runs his own business in Hays, the JR Miniature Golf Center.

In the spring of 2007, Kuehl graduated from Fort Hays State University with a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership.

Richard Guffey
Head Women's Golf Coach

Richard Guffey enters his fourth season as head coach of the Tiger women's golf program. Guffey is also the golf pro at the Fort Hays Municipal Golf Course in Hays, Kan.

Guffey attended Fort Hays State University from 1969 to 1973. He and his wife, Deborah, reside in Hays. They have three children--Amy, Matt and Nathan.
