Tiger men finish 13th in tourney

MUSKOGEE, Okla. -- the Fort Hays State University men's golf team remained in 13th place after Tuesday's final round of the Northeastern State Classic.
FHSU was in 13th place out of 19 teams after Monday's first day.
The Tigers shot a 298 Tuesday and finished at 894. University of Central Oklahoma won at 846.
Senior Kevin Quinley led the Tigers with a 219 after three rounds, tying for 22nd place.
Senior Markus Hilger tied for 56th at 226, while freshman Trey Herman and junior Austin Maxwell each shot a 228. Senior Tom O'Keefe finished at 229.
Individual medalist honors went to Ethan Adamson of Arkansas-Fort Smith, who shot five-under 208 for the tournament.
FHSU finished third out of seven MIAA teams at the meet.
