FHSU women 12th in Oklahoma tourney

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. -- The Fort Hays State University women's golf team finished 12th Tuesday at the Northeastern State Classic.
Fort Hays shot 671 as a team. Host Northeastern State won by 11 shots over Midwestern State, finishing at 597.
Senior Kiley Johansen shot 162 to lead FHSU, finishing in a tie for 24th. Senior Jordan Nixon was 38th at 166. Freshman Sami Hobson tied for 46th at 170. Senior Samantha Nielsen finished at 173 and junior Carmen Thompson was at 176.
Northeastern State's Kelsey Kirkpatrick took individual honors with a 144.
