Tiger wrestlers suffer dual loss

PUEBLO, Colo. -- Colorado State University-Pueblo handed the 12th-ranked Fort Hays State University wrestling team its first dual loss of the season on Thursday, edging the Tigers 18-15 in RMAC action.
CSU-Pueblo is now 2-0 overall and 1-0 RMAC. Fort Hays is 2-1, 1-1.
Tiger junior Collin Hase won by pin at 125 pounds. After Kyle Johnson lost 6-1 at 133, sophomore 141-pounder C.J. Napier won his first match of the season, 5-4. Redshirt freshman Joey Dozier lost 9-4 at 149 pounds, then sophomore Derek Koehn won 3-1 in overtime at 157 pounds.
Fort Hays then lost at 165 (junior Sam Thoman), 174 (redshirt freshman Benny Armstrong), 184 (senior Aaron Berscheidt) and 197 pounds (sophomore Tanner Kriss).
Senior heavyweight Justin Glenn won 3-1, but needed a pin for a draw in the dual.
