Tiger golfers 4th at RMAC

The Fort Hays State University women's golf team finished fourth in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference championships (third among RMAC schools) this past weekend in Silver City, New Mexico.
Western New Mexico, the host school, won the meet with a 638 score. Western Washington, which is not a RMAC school, finished second at 641. Mesa State (Col.) College was third with 676 and Fort Hays was fourth at 708, one shot ahead of University of Nebraska-Kearney. Eleven teams and 55 players competed in the meet.
Tiger senior Shelby White finished seventh with rounds of 80-82 for a score of 162. However, she was fourth among RMAC players, as three Western Washington players finished ahead of her.
Junior Kelsie Paul, a Hays High graduate, and tied for 18th with a score of 171.
Freshman Melinda Schremmer, a Phillipsburg native, shot 187 and tied for 36th. Junior Erika Householter was 39th with a 188 score.
