Tigers ninth at Mines/Regis Invite

AURORA -- The Fort Hays State University men's golf team finished ninth Tuesday at the Colorado Mines/Regis Invitational.
Florida's Johnson and Wales won at 580. Fort Hays shot 618.
Individually, low medalist was Joonas Hinkkanen of Johnson and Wales with a 4-under 140 for the two-day tourney. Fort Hays sophomore Markus Hilger tied for fifth at 145.
Other Fort Hays scores: junior Kevin Quinley, 150; junior Adam Gorjiyan, 161; sophomore Aaron Mapel, 162; junior Tobey Mullen, 173.
