Tiger tennis ends season at 6-12

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Fort Hays State University tennis team ended its season with a 7-0 loss to Emporia State University at the MIAA Championships at the Plaza Tennis Center. All consolation matches were cancelled because of inclement weather. The Tigers ended their season 6-12, 2-6 in the MIAA.
Emporia State moved to 12-2, 6-2 MIAA. Of the four completed singles matches, no score was closer than 6-2, 6-1. On the doubles' side, FHSU was not closer than 8-3.
