Kearney beats Fort Hays in dual

KEARNEY, Neb. -- The Fort Hays State University wrestling team lost 27-3 to top-ranked University of Nebraska-Kearney in a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference dual on Wednesday night.
No Tiger was pinned, but the only wrestler to win was third-ranked Mikel Delk at 149 pounds. Delk defeated No. 8-ranked Matt True, 3-2.
No. 8 Andrew Ubben lost at heavyweight to top-ranked Tervel Diagnev, 5-3. Devin Schwartz lost 6-0 to second-ranked Trevor Charbonneau at 125 pounds.
Derek Patterson lost 11-5 to No. 1 Brett Allgood at 133, while James Annon was an 8-6 loser to No. 5 Jeff Rutledge at 141.
At 157 pounds, No. 8 Danny Grater lost 3-1 to No. 7 Joe Ellenberger, and at 165, Troy Lussenhop fell 9-4 to Taylor May.
At 174, Blake Malloy was a 7-6 loser to Paul Sutton, while Mike Howell was an 8-3 loser to fourth-ranked Matt Farrell at 181. Tyler Gonzales lost 4-3 to Kelsey Empting at 197.
