Tiger cross country teams take first place

The Fort Hays State University men's and women's cross country teams each won the Oklahoma Baptist Invitational in Shawnee, Okla. on Saturday. Senior Aaron Yoder won the men's race with a time of 25 minutes, 23 seconds, while senior Jay Lindal finished third at 25:33. Sophomore Cole Ginther finished fifth with a time of 25:54, senior Elias Diaz was sixth and senior Dan Yoder seventh.
The men's team scored 22 points, while Oklahoma Baptist and Southern Nazarene each tallied 59.
The Tiger women had 36 points, while Oklahoma Baptist finished with 43. Senior Nikki Knowles finished second (19:03), while junior Ali Mishler was fifth and senior Jackie Jamison was sixth.
