Tiger cross country wraps up season

WARRENSBURG, Mo. -- The Fort Hays State University cross country teams completed its seasons on Saturday at the South Central Regional hosted by University of Central Missouri. The Tiger women finished seventh out of the 19 teams with 210 points. Pittsburg State University, the MIAA champions, won with 66 points. Midwestern State (Tex.) University had the other national qualifying spot with 108 points. Senior Hali Mobley finished 27th in 23 minutes, 41.68 seconds. Junior Heidi Hines was second in 30th place in 23:48.14 over the 6-kilometer course.
The Tiger men finished 13th out of 15 teams. Junior Tanner Christensen covered the 10-kilometer course in 33:06.01 to finish 21st. Senior Cameron Rieth was 36th in 33:31.57.
