Tiger coach signs cross country runners

Fort Hays State University cross country coach Jason McCullough has announced the signing of 17 runners to his program.
Of his group of 10 men and seven women, 12 come in as freshman, with four junior college transfers and one senior transfer.
McCullough landed two from Hays, as Thomas More Prep-Marian state
qualifier Kevin Sander and Hays High’s Sharley Schreiner join the
program. The Tigers also inked Jackie Jamison from Quinter, and Faryn
Beam from Kensington. Jamison is a junior college transfer from Johnson
County Community College.
Other high school signings from Kansas were Tanner Bartholomew from
Mankato, Clinton Begnoche from Salina, Kody Cook (Great Bend) and Mitch
Hunter, Amie Algrim (Garden City).
Jay Lindal from Clearwater, who ran at Butler Community College,
will be joined by Dylan Motta from Pratt Community College on the men’s
side along with transfer Tyson McGuire from West Texas A&M.
On the women’s side, Nikki Knowles from Garden City Community College is a junior college transfer.
The Tigers’ out-of-state high school signings are Justin McAlpin
from Tulsa, Okla., Jordan Stroup (Benkelman, Neb.), Daniela Sanchez
(Brush, Colo.) and Michaela Schurman (Hildreth, Neb.).
