Tiger tennis ends MIAA season in loss

KEARNEY, Neb. -- The Fort Hays State University women's tennis team finished its MIAA schedule with a 9-0 road loss to University of Nebraska-Kearney on Tuesday. FHSU completed the season 7-11, 2-8 MIAA, while UNK improved to 18-6, 7-3 MIAA. Juniors Camille Caron-Bedard and Brittany Ricci retired after falling down a set at No. 1 and No. 2 singles, respectively.

The Tigers lost the three doubles matches, 8-3, 8-3 and 8-6. In no singles matches did FHSU win more than seven games combined in the two sets.
